Episode 10: Bull and S**t! The Breakfast Club! Steve Harrington! The Duende!

In our final throwback episode we worry about crows talking smack, contemplate why sometimes sequels don’t measure up to original content, and nerd out over both geography and literature.

Fun game: Take a shot every time we say the words dick or dickhead (don’t actually, you’ll probably die).

Correction: In Pride the miners on strike lived in Wales, not England. Hannah is eternally sorry for conflating the two.

We mention the importance of therapy a lot in this episode. While therapy is a good and valid option, it is *super* important to do your research when it comes to therapists or counselors. Remember that, like almost everything else, it’ll take time to establish trust with a therapist, and if your instincts are telling you the fit is wrong, it’s okay to find somebody else. Therapy isn’t about forcing yourself to talk to someone. It’s about getting the help you need to create the best possible mental health situation you can. Here’s an article that lays out some of the basics about how to think about starting therapy and selecting a good therapist for you: https://www.bustle.com/articles/82507-how-to-find-a-therapist-and-know-theyre-right-for-you-in-7-easy-steps.

Episode 4: Vagina Touching! Favorite Fictional Characters! Skyrim!

This week we introduce listeners to a controversial new game called “up your sleeve” and spend a lot of time talking about fictional people we want to keep in our metaphorical pockets. We also continue our gross love affair with The Elder Scroll games by delving into the world of Skyrim and the adventures of Ebobby the Wood Elf.

Jen can’t find the source for which poet had a beautiful line about childhood cruelties. She apologizes deeply to whomever she is not crediting.
Apology: We did not pronounce Catherynne Valente’s last name correctly for the entirety of the podcast. Fan cred revoked. It’s Valen-tea, not Valen-tee.
